the weekend cast
hello lovely readers! I’m looking forward to heading out for a weekend upstate tomorrow afternoon. Brandon and I are driving to a campsite in Woodstock, New York to kayak, swim, use a “sun shower” (!!!) and eat a lumberjack breakfast at Phoenicia Diner, which I’ve been dying to try. I planned our weekend using Tentrr, a new website that takes the hassle out of camping. While it’s not exactly “glamping” there will be a tent, grill, and other necessities ready for us when we arrive, saving an hour or two on setup. Have you ever used a service like this?
What are you up to this weekend? I would love if you share a tidbit or two in the comment section below!
While you work up the courage to share, here are some things I’ver read, eyed, drank, bought, and enjoyed around the web.
one of my plants died this week and I’m refreshing my memory on how to keep plants alive and healthy in a NYC apartment. This article about succulents was very helpful.
zara came out with a bit of their fall collection and it is silky, stripy, and stunning. Take a peek here.
been drinking this vegan almond milk latte obsessively, just can’t get enough. I’ve made a huge jug and kept it in the fridge to sip on all throughout the week.
found a cute spot for a $1 oyster happy hour in the east village, give it a shot if you’re around the area!
adored this article about parenting in Israel. I studied abroad in Tel Aviv and used to wander Neve Tzedik all the time. Missing the cafe carr (iced coffee slushy) we slurped down on hot summer days.
the nordstrom anniversary sale is happening! I have my eye on this versatile pleated skirt, this essential sunscreen pack (I love supergoop) and this pale pink moto jacket! what are you swooning over?
remember I told you about that non-toxic nail salon I tried last week: tenoverten? Well besides being clean and calm, I found the perfect shade of pink there. It caught my eye right away and when I turned over the bottle the name of the polish was jane!
and that's how the cookie crumbles! have a good weekend beauties, and always be like family :)
