Parisian Dinner Party Decor (Amazon Prime It!)
This recipe is part of a series about throwing a dinner party like a Parisian.
By the time I decided to throw a French dinner party for Mother's Day, I had about 5 days to prepare everything. I didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money, and I was tight on time to run around. Enter: Amazon Prime. I ordered a few items that really added a Parisian pizazz to my party, simply, affordably and efficiently.
For the flowers, I used a vintage blue Ball jar, a french mini-bucket, and some other small vases I had around the house. My main colors were purple, blue and yellow. I also purchased some lavender and placed it in a cheap silver bucket for a rustic feel!
My kitchen table is beautiful wood, so I didn't want to completely mask it with a tablecloth. Instead, I chose a rustic striped table runner.
My plates are from Canvas Home, and the cutlery is Villeroy & Boch. I didn't have any chamapgne coupes (only very tall flutes), so I ordered these:
I also bought simple linen napkins, which I felt really complemented the linen runner. Even if you have cloth napkins, be sure to have paper napkins around. Somehow, people always ask for them!
