I Hated Foot Cream Before I Found This One

I Hated Foot Cream Before I Found This One

Let's just be honest, feet are weird. Toes are strange. They're like fingers but shorter and with less mobility and sometimes they look like little sausages. I guess some people love feet, and actually fetishize them, which only proves my point further.

My relationship with my feet for the duration of my life has been to pay someone else to take care of them in the form of a pedicure. It seemed simplest, most effective, and least painful because have you ever tried painting your own toe nails? I have and it looks a tribute to Jackson Pollock.

I never even bothered putting foot cream on outside of my regular pedicures, despite my tired, winter feet, because I found the process annoying. Where do you put your foot down after you've slathered it in a sea of nutrients? Do you just hold it up in the air and wait for it to dry? Do you put it down on the floor and leave a wet footprint like the Lochness Monster? Who knows.

Anyways, you may be wondering where I am going with this. I'll tell you. I went to Whole Foods the other day to test out a lotion that had been recommended to me by a friend. Apparently, it was going to change my life, and apparently, it already had a cult following whether or not I agreed. So I bought a tube of Skin Food by Weleda and then I came home, took a hot shower, and tried the stuff. The texture was phenomenal: perfectly rich and creamy without feeling greasy. The smell is light and fresh. It's quite nice to apply, and it absorbs into the skin after just a minute or two. Shocking. I realized I enjoyed rubbing this "food" on my feet, hands, elbows. I was hungry and I wanted to moisturize myself from head to toe.I went a little crazy with it that first time, fine. But I'm now officially a member of the skin food cult and I think you should be too.

Take it from a former non-believer, giving your feet a rubdown after a long day is so relaxing. You can also have your man or your lady friend do this, or do as I did and just fly solo. Make sure to tell them to massage your little toesies and give them the moisture they deserve! Don't deprive them like I have for 25 years damn it.
